After dominating the Championship in the first half of the season, the form of Crystal Palace has subsequently dipped in recent months. In a bid to resurrect the form of the club, the manager has been making a few changes to the squad. One of the major changes came in the form of the winger Wilfried Zaha, who has now been sold to Manchester United for around £ 15 million.
Wilfried Zaha has been one of the highly rated players in the English league. He recently made his debut for the England national team. While also selling the player, Holloway has been able to persuade Manchester United into loaning him back till the end of the season. This coupled with the arrival of the former Blackpool players Kevin Phillips and Stephen Dobbie mean that the manager now has more options in the business end of the season. Scoring goals will be an important area of concern for the manager in the next few months. He has said that the arrival of Dobbie and Phillips helps them find goals from other sources now.

I’m delighted that I have landed two players for Crystal Palace who I have worked with before. Stephen Dobbie and Kevin Phillips are two players who will boost our goals tally over the coming months as we get to the business end of the season,” said Ian Holloway, who has overseen a run of just two victories in the last five matches. Crystal Palace are currently fifth in the championship table.
