Newcastle United are reportedly confident that they can seal a big transfer for Crystal Palace winger EberechiEzein the summer. This is according to the report from The Sun which stated that the Magpies wanted to take Eze on loan during the January transfer window, but they were unable to convince Crystal Palace to part with the player albeit temporarily. The Magpies are said to be planning a £45m raid on Palace for the player ahead of resumption of the transfer window this summer.
Newcastle United spent the most money during the January transfer window as they bid to retain their Premier League status beyond this season and it looks like they have already started looking at the players to sign this summer going by the news concerning their renewed interest in Crystal Palace star Eze.
The Magpies now have a lot of cash to spend on new players after the takeover by the Saudi-led consortium last year October. They signed five new players last month and they have all contributed their quota to get Newcastle United out of the relegation zone. They are now four points clear of the bottom three in the Premier League after winning their last three matches in the competition.
